Blogtember Challenge Day 19: For what it's worth honeys x

Hi Honeys
Hope everyone is well today. I'm exhausted, having stayed up to watch the results of the Independence referendum.  So today we've reached day 19 of blogtember, organized by the lovely Bailey Jean of Brave Love.  Today's prompt is Sept 19th: If you could give one piece of advice to a large group of people, what would it be?

All I can offer you honeys is what life has taught me, so far anyway :)

We only have one life, and everyone always feels like they have all the time in the world. We don't. Time passes so, so fast. So, here it is, for what it's worth.
 1. Life's shorter than you think, don't waste it, but time enjoyed isn't time wasted.  Do whatever makes your heart smile, so long as you aren't hurting anyone else.

2. Don't allow anyone to treat you badly. You are unique, special and you deserve to be happy.  Anyone who makes you feel anything less than loved is toxic to your health & not worth your time.

3. Be kind. That's it. That thing we were all taught as children in Sunday School "do unto others..."  Such a wonderful, and simple, way to live our lives. Treat everyone as we would like to be treated ourselves.  Yes, of course, in life you'll meet people who don't "play fair" who lie or cheat or steal from you, but here's the thing.

The first time people behave this way, they are showing you their nature. They can only do it again with your permission. By tolerating it we agree to be treated this way. Be careful what you tolerate, but just make sure that you're just as careful to mind your own behaviour too.  Help others when you can. Someday, when you least expect it, someone will reach out a hand and help you too.

4. Animals don't have a voice. They are living, loving sentient beings. Not everyone we meet understands this, please be their voice when you can & never allow cruelty or carelessness to go unchallenged.

So, that's it dear ones. That's all the advice I can offer. I hope you've had a great week & that you're looking forward to a fabulous weekend.  Till next time, honeys, sending heaps of hugs xx
