Blogtober Day 1: Why our garden guests will need our help soon...

 Hi Honeys

Blogtober is here again 😊 It's the fun, sometimes exhausting, always challenging.... well... challenge really where bloggers commit to write and publish 31 posts in 31 days 💖

Blogtober 2020: Day One: Let's Get Started!

It's getting colder honeys, and the days are getting shorter.   There's still sunshine but oh my, a cardigan is needed now, even if you're just popping out to re-fill the bird's feeders on the tree 💗

Blogtober Day 1: Autumn has arrived, the garden's changing and our garden guests will start to need help finding food soon.

This gorgeous wood pigeon is one of a bonded pair who visit our garden every day. I look forward to seeing them, around tea time every evening...

They always make me smile 😊💖 When I see one of them I always look for his/her mate.  They're never far from each other.  They mate for life you know 💕

Another little guest I look forward to seeing every day is our little squirrel friend. Bless her, Jade still can't understand why her little garden pal won't come down to play with her.💖

It will start getting more difficult soon for the feathery and furry wildlife visitors we're all lucky enough to share the garden with to find food.  They'll need our help in the months to come honeys and it takes only a tiny effort to help them through winter.

I wrote a (hopefully) useful post last autumn about caring for our garden guests and why we really need to, which you can find here.

It's so important to help them survive honeys, this post even has five reasons to love squirrels.  Did you know, for instance, that these adorable little guys are helping scientists develop treatments for strokes?

Are you joining in Blogtober this year honeys?  If so, please leave your link in the comments section so I can go read your post?  Thank you to everyone taking part, whether by writing posts or by reading them, you guys rock!

Till tomorrow dear ones, stay warm, hugs always xx

Be you honeys, you matter, you're needed x
