Shopping Fun & A Mini Haul

Disclaimer:  I haven't been paid to recommend any products or stores, just wanted to share the little smiles I found x

Hi Honeys
How are you today?  All well I hope πŸ’—  I recently had a short, fun, shopping trip 😊   I already shared what I saw on my trip here and here honeys in case you missed them, and I thought today I'd share the mini shopping haul I came home with.  Can you believe I bought more Harry Potter socks? 😊

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul, grab a cuppa and some cookies honeys :)

Why not grab a cuppa and maybe a cookie or two honeys and we'll meet back here in a few minutes to take a look shall we?

Welcome back again dear ones πŸ’–  Do you have your cuppa?  I do too, let's dive in shall we?

Smiles at Home Bargains 😊

Do you remember from my recent shopping posts these adorable little coffee mugs in the shape of plant pots honeys?

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: How adorable are these plant pot shaped coffee mugs?

How perfect are they for enjoying a cuppa in the garden while caring for my much loved roses🌹 Naturally I had to have one 😍

I'm smiling just looking at this photo honeys 😊 These little coffee mugs would make such a lovely gift for anyone who loves their garden and at only 89p they're a bargain too 😊

I keep seeing lots of home decor items spelling out words in so many different finishes and colours and designs.  I've seen bathroom decor items spelling out things like "soak" or "relax" and kitchen decor too.  We have wall hanging letters in our kitchen spelling out "bake."  In our hallway we have a lovely frame that's home to a photo of our furbaby Jade smiling her perfect wee smile and it says "smile" on it and smile I always do, we adore our furbaby 😍

Home Bargains had a perfect example of "word decor" that looks like this...

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Home Bargains had this perfect word decor item spelling out "dream."

Available in three different colours, this little sign just charmed the socks off me.  Maybe we all need a reminder now and again how good it is to dream 😍  I bought the pale blue version...

Isn't it beautiful honeys?  I haven't decided where to put it yet but I'll find a home for it.

I'm still loving my morning yoga and while in Home Bargains I spotted these useful resistance loops...

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Home Bargains had these useful resistance loops.

They're available in three "strengths" the lavender loop is for light resistance and the blue loop is for medium resistance.  These are the two I brought home.  There is also a grey loop which offers heavy resistance.  These useful loops are only 99p too, so they're an affordable addition to anyone's workout kit.

This next item is the last one in my mini haul from Home Bargains and I'm hoping to use them in a crafting project...

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Home Bargains had these pretty decorative stones.

I'm hoping to paint these lovely little stones, I'm not sure how they'll turn out but I was so happy to find such perfect, smooth stones for my project.  I'm hoping they'll be pretty when painted and placed around the planters in the garden where the miniature roses live πŸ’–

Fruity Smiles and More Harry Potter Socks in Primark😍

First up in Primark were, yes, more Harry Potter socks 😊  I have so many pairs of Potter themed socks now, I even wear them to work.  No one can see them under my uniform and they make me smile 😊  The latest additions were in Primark's clearance section and look like this...

Aren't they sweet honeys?  I just adore these little cartoon versions of the Potter characters, they're just adorable and have appeared on lots of other products such as the mini note books I wrote about towards the end of last year.

These socks have useful little anti slip gel spots on them...

They'll be perfect little slipper socks for around the house and I'm sure the anti slip dots will be useful too since the lower level of our home is mostly wooden floors.  They're lovely and soft too so they'll help keep my toes toasty warm 😊

Next we have... yep, even more Potter socks 😊

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Adorable Harry Potter themed socks in Primark are presented in the prettiest packaging designed to look like a ticket to Hogwarts.

Again, these Potter socks were found in the clearance section and only £1.  They're presented in the prettiest packaging.  A box designed to resemble a train ticket to Hogwarts...

The boxes containing the socks was so pretty I actually bought two of them, because I had the idea of possibly re-using the boxes as storage for my Potter badges.

As you can see the boxes close using velcro dots, and the boxes themselves are quite sturdy.  I'm hoping to cut some foam to fit the boxes and to use that foam as home for my pins to keep them safe.

Back to the socks themselves then honeys, when the boxes are opened, inside is a plastic cover over the socks to protect them...

The socks themselves are the softest, fluffiest socks with a slight, silvery "sparkle" through them, making them very pretty.  Embroidered into the tops of the socks are the Platform 9 3/4 logo.

These socks really are lovely and perfect to use as bed socks on cold nights πŸ’—

Last, but very definitely not least of my Primark purchases were one each of these fun and fruity sponges...

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Fun & fruity sponges from Primark made me smile...

Aren't they pretty?  They're so bright and fun.  I bought one of each, an orange segment and the bunch of grapes one too...

Perfect Kitchenware From Poundland🍳

These next items were actually picked up for me by my sweet Hubby (thank you sweetheart x) after I saw them online πŸ’–

It's such fun making homemade jams, and so easy too!  My own favourite (although I haven't made any for a while) was making homemade lemon curd.  I love lemony anything so a lemony jam is perfection in a jar for me πŸ˜‹

Poundland have this fabulous set of three preserve jars...

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Poundland have a preserve set that's just perfect!

This lovely little set is made up of the following..

There are three jam jars with the prettiest bright red lids, three chalkboard adhesive labels and a piece of chalk.

Such a perfect little set and only £1 too!  Wouldn't this set be ideal for gifting your homemade treats such as jams, preserves, homemade chutney.. whatever treats you make honeys, this would be a lovely way to present them.  What about a little homemade hamper with homemade cookies, muffins or scones with homemade jam?

Last item for today is the sweetest little set of cookie cutters...

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Poundland have the sweetest cookie cutter set.

I love cookie cutters πŸͺ  I have Halloween shapes, Christmas shapes, all kinds of shapes.  So, when I spotted this little set online I just had to have them 😍

Let's have a closer look...

Shopping fun and a mini shopping haul: Poundland have the sweetest cookie cutter set.

I can't wait to make a batch of cookies with these!  The fun, as always, is icing them in different colours and designs. From left to right in the photo above we have a shoe, a lipstick, a perfume bottle and a dress.  Wouldn't these make the most perfect cookies for wee one's birthday parties?  I wonder if they have other sets?  Does anyone know?  These were the only ones I saw online.

Well, that's been my mini shopping haul honeys.  Do you have a favourite?  Have you found anything wonderful recently on your shopping trips?  Why not share in the comments?  Enjoy your weekend dear ones, till next time, hugs always xx

Edit: I did in fact turn those Hogwarts train ticket boxes into adorable storage boxes for some of my Potter badges

The Hogwarts train ticket boxes were perfect to re-use as storage for Harry Potter themed badges.

you can see how I recycled these adorable boxes here honeys hugs x

Edit 2: Those marvellous little preserve jars from Poundland have been worth their weight in gold since I started meal prepping lunches for the week ahead.  Each Sunday they are filled with fruit such as blueberries, sliced bananas, strawberries etc and a lovely topping of fresh, natural yogurt then all popped into the fridge.  I also make up tiny snack pots with dry roasted peanuts too.

Little jars of plain yogurt with fruit and tiny pots of healthy nuts making snacking much healthier.

This makes it so easy to have a healthy snack when feeling a little peckish during the day.  It's only around an hour of work on a Sunday but fills the fridge with healthy nibbles that last all week.  Where has meal (and snack) prepping been all my life πŸ˜‹ Hugs honeys x

Hugs Always, Rosie xx

    1. Hi Jenna, I adore glass jars too! So many uses and crafting possibilities and so much better for our world than endless plastic. I loved your latest post on charcoal teeth whitening because I recently bought some charcoal product but haven't been brave enough to try it yet :) I've added your blog to my reading list here on Blogger, I hope that's ok? I tried to go to bloglovin' but it's refusing to recognise my password, I tried to reset it but it won't allow that either. I wonder if their site is having problems? I'll try again in the morning, it's so nice to meet you Jenna, thank you so much for visiting, I hope you're having a fab weekend, hugs x
