Hi honeys
I hope you've had a fabulous weekend with much better weather than we've had here. It might be July but I swear it feels like October. Where did Summer go? Did I blink and miss it?
Arriving here to start work on a new blog post (which you'll love, more books dear ones) I was met by a message from Google regarding cookies. No, not these cookies.....
Although if you want the recipe for these delicious, super easy to make gingerbread cookies you can find it here :) Of course Google is referring to computer cookies. Computers eat cookies? Well, maybe just a byte <groans> Sorry honeys :) That's the best joke I could think of this early in the morning :)
You might have noticed when you arrived here today that the header now has a banner running across it that looks like this....
So, what is a computer cookie? It's apparently a small text file that is left on your computer by websites you visit. These cookies assist users by remembering what sites you've been to and use that information to suggest ads, services etc based on your perceived likes.
They don't contain sensitive information such as user names or passwords. Those are stored on your computer in the Auto Complete Folder under Content in Internet Options.
Cookies are easily removed and you can read how to do that from lots of different browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari & Opera (and many more) here.
You can find a page from Google here with their cookie policy, information about how they use cookies as well as lots of other useful information and a useful video. In addition there is a fabulous page here chock full of all kinds of cookie information.

There we have it. I hope that this little post has helped explain why there is a new banner appearing at the top of the page.
Till next time dear ones, wishing you mountains of smiles, hugs and a happy, happy day, hugs always xx
