A Mini Harry Potter Haul (With The Coolest New House Pen & Stationery Set...)

Disclaimer:  I haven't been paid to promote any products or stores, just wanted to (hopefully) share a little smile x

Hi Honeys,
How are you today? I'm praying that our cousins across the pond stay well in these storms, God bless you all and keep you safe from harm.  As I write this the rain is battering off the windows here and the wind is so loud.  Our furbaby Jade is hugging me on the sofa as always 💕

I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long.  I've actually been silent on all of my social media for longer than I have been in well.... ever really.  I'm feeling so run down and empty honeys and hiding away is how I cope with it.  I do need to give myself a shake though, I really do, no matter how difficult it is.

Hubby has two weeks off from work and we'd planned when he booked his holidays (in January) to use the holiday time scattered throughout the year to work on the house, mostly decluttering of course.  This is the end of the first week and we have lots of huge bags made up and ready to drop off at Barnados but still lots to do.  My spine still really hurts so I'm not much help but Hubby says my job is to go through things and decide what's to be kept or not, so he brings me boxes and bags to sift through.  I married an angel honeys💖

Hubby does our big shop each week and this week he came home with a Potter tote bag and a big smile for me, bless him💖 (Thank you sweetheart x)  I thought I'd share in case any fellow Potter fans have missed the latest Potter themed arrivals on the market.

Super Easy DIY Face Mask Using Recycled Denim

Disclaimer:  This mask is not personal protective equipment.  I made a few of these masks for Hubby's work commute after watching an awesome tutorial I found on Youtube (details and link in the post below) added my own little tweak by using a micro fibre cloth as the inner layer and wanted to share. Enjoy honeys and please stay safe x

Hi Honeys,
I hope you're well and having a great weekend.  I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. OK, short Rosie moan coming up, please feel free to jump ahead😊  It's now 131 days lock-down began, many people are (carefully) out and about already but I haven't been any further outside than a few (very rare) trips to the end of our little patio in the back garden to feed the birds.

I haven't been able to have my bloods done (long story) and so I haven't had access to my arthritis medication since March. Spoonies will understand that when I say ouchie, it's a wee bit of an understatement. I'm coping as best as I can, just as we all are.  Things will get better dear ones, we have to believe that, they always do.  All we can do is hold on until they do <hugs> xx

Enough of my moans and on to what I hope is a useful, and fun, little sewing project 😊

Super Easy DIY Masks: To make this mask I recycled denim from an old pair of jeans, used a lovely soft micro fibre from an unusual source for the lining and also added a sewn-in pipe cleaner nose bridge to make it spectacle/glasses wearer friendly.

This is going to be quite a long post, I took photos when making this cool (Hubby says so lol) wee mask, so why not go grab a cuppa and maybe a cookie or two and I'll meet you after the page break?  (just click the "read more" link)
