Passing COVID-19 Lock-down Time: Organising The Kitchen Cabinets (Part Two)

Disclaimer: I haven't been paid to recommend or promote any stores or products, just wanted to share what I'm doing to stay busy (and happy) during the lock-down.  Stay safe honeys x

Hi Honeys,
How are you today?  It's such a beautiful day today, the sun is shining and our furbaby Jade's having a nap on the sofa next to me, bless her 💖 She always keeps me company while her Dad's at work.

Today though, Jade's a little confused.  Earlier today, her Dad had his lunch with us because He's working from home all this week.  She's happy enough though, she got lots of hugs before he went back upstairs to his den/office💗

Filling The Lock-Down Time..

Are you at home during the lock-down honeys?  I have chronic health issues, so I've been at home for over four weeks now.  To keep myself busy I'd decided to try to tick off some of those little things on my "to do" list that I've been meaning to do for a while.

I made a start on this list by tackling a few organisational projects in our kitchen.  My first project was to try to bring some order to the chaos of the large cabinet by the kitchen door.  This is a difficult cabinet to organise because of it's depth, meaning that no matter how it's organised, there will be things in front of things.

It turned out really well though actually and it's very user-friendly.  You can see how it turned out here honeys.  Today though, it's on to another cabinet, and also a little meal prepping station too, but I'm getting ahead of myself again 😊

I just smiled again seeing those photos 😊 This was much less work than the last cabinet because it has so much less in it (it's home to our cleaning supplies) and since it's not a very deep cabinet I didn't really have to deal with rows of items.

Why not go grab yourself a cuppa, and maybe a cookie (or two) then dear ones and I'll met you back here after the page break for a chat and to share what I did...

Passing COVID-19 Lock-down Time: Organising The Kitchen Cabinets (Part One)

Disclaimer: I haven't been paid to recommend or promote any stores or products, just wanted to share what I'm doing to stay busy (and happy) during the lock-down.  Stay safe honeys x

Hi Honeys,
How are you today?  All well I hope? It's such a beautiful day outside, the sun is shining, we've been blessed with so many tiny guests in the garden at the bird feeders and I'm loving standing at the kitchen window watching them every day.

If there is a positive to the current lock down situation, it's that being at home for an extended period has led to our looking around our home in search of things to do to pass the time.  There are so many things to catch up on and an "easy win" (sort of) that I can achieve while Hubby is at work (he's a key worker) is to tidy and organise some cupboards.

I was so pleased with how this first cabinet turned out, that I decided to start on another cabinet, the one under the sink that's home to our cleaning supplies, next. I'll share when it's done, promise 💗

I'm getting ahead of myself 😊 There are lots of photos in this post dear ones so why not go grab a cuppa, and maybe a cookie, and I'll meet you back here after the page break for a chat 😊

Covid-19: A Spoonie's Thoughts On The Corona Virus And Being At Home...

Disclaimer:  This is not health advice.  If you have any issues or questions, concerning the corona virus or anything else relating to your health, please talk to your doctor or health care professional honeys.

Hi Honeys
How are you today?  I dearly hope you're all well and staying safe.  We find ourselves living in very scary times right now dear ones.  The world is facing a pandemic. A worldwide virus that we don't have a cure for yet.

This will change. It has to honeys, and I'm praying there will be a breakthrough very soon.  There are so many doctors, scientists and all kinds of really smart people I'm sure, working on finding a way to stop the spread of this virus and to find a vaccine that can protect all of us against it.

Covid-19: A spoonie's thoughts on the corona virus and being at home...

For now though, all we can do is to follow the guidelines issued by our Governments, by the NHS and by health authorities, and do everything we can to keep ourselves and our families safe.

This will probably be quite a post honeys, it might be good to go grab a cuppa and maybe a cookie (or two) I'll meet you back here after the page break...
