Hello Honeys :)
I hope you're all well & having a great week. The weather is playing havoc with my painful joints I'm afraid but I wanted to share a couple of little bargains I found when Hubby & I were doing a grocery shop last weekend. So that if you live near either Home Bargains or Asda you might also be able to snap them up too :)
First up is this adorable little set of 5 glass bowls with clip on lids. Perfect for storing left overs in the fridge or for measuring out ingredients, ready to use when cooking/baking. This is a habit of mine, to measure out ingredients and have them sitting ready for use before beginning to cook a dish. It just makes things so much easier.

Rosie & The Very Large Spider!
Hi honeys,
Hope you've all had a fabulous weekend :) Me, when not working I've been having adventures including a run in with what is possibly one of the biggest spiders I've ever seen!
So, imagine you wake up and something catches your attention, something you've "seen" just out of the corner of your eye. Something very high up where the corner of the room meets the ceiling. So, you look in the direction of whatever your still sleepy brain has noticed and you see this......
BEWARE! photo of very large spider ahead.....
I should add that the clock you can see at the edge of the photo is a large wall clock in our bedroom. This wasn't a spider this was an escapee from a monster movie :)

Rosie's Rose Garden In Bloom & Free Printables!
Hello honeys,
Another beautiful sunny day and I thought I'd celebrate by sharing some photos of our roses. I adore roses :) Don't most ladies? I love opening the curtains in the morning to be met by a flash of stunning shades of reds & pinks and so I thought maybe they might make you smile too.
I'm sure it's all due to the glorious sunshine we've had this summer but they really are gorgeous this year. I've also made you a couple of pretty printables which I so hope that you like as much as I enjoyed making them for you.
So here they are, without further ado... Rosie's roses to hopefully make you smile and some beautiful quotes that make my heart smile, and hopefully yours too x

Scrumptious Strawberry Sponge Cake
Hi Honeys
Another kitchen adventure post again today :) There are so many ways to use the humble sponge recipe, so many variations. I love finding new ways to adapt a basic sponge, new flavours to try. While rummaging in my pantry cupboard I found a tin of strawberries, odd I thought because I didn't remember having bought them :)
Now, what can I do with them? The result was this......
This recipe couldn't be any easier unless it made and served itself :) It's so delicious, moist and yummy :)

Tiny Mudroom - The Organization Continues!
Disclaimer: I have not been paid to promote this product it's just our latest little bargain in the continuing mission to organize our home.
NOTE: Apologies (and many grateful thanks) but if you've tried to share this post you'll notice an odd description, I had a spam comment left, which I deleted, but it's injected itself into the description of my facebook share button :( If you know how to re set it I'd be eternally grateful if you could tell me how. Thank you xx
Hello honeys,
Do you remember my recent post about first finding out what a "mud room" is & then realising we have one? A mud room is generally the area just inside your entry way, at either the front or back door, where dirty shoes or muddy wellingtons will be deposited, rather than trekking mud & dirt all over your clean floors.
In our case our mudroom is a tiny space just inside the front door, separated from the rest of the house by a glass door which opens onto our hallway and the lower floor of the house. We've been tweaking ours again, and I wanted to share.
I mentioned in a recent post (which also had an adorable little printable "to do" list in case you missed it) that we'd bought a little shelf unit for our tiny mudroom & promised to share when it was in place. Well, on Monday night after dinner (and after taking our furbaby Jade walkies, bless him :) hubby put it together and hung it up behind the front door in our teeny tiny mudroom :)

Baked Potato, Fish & Onion Rounds With Crispy Salad
Hello again honeys,
OK, you know the tab for recipes, at the top of my page is labelled "My Kitchen Adventures" well, this post absolutely sums up why :)
So, last night I was making chicken fajitas & a crispy salad for dinner for hubby again, what can I say he loves them and that's what he said he wanted :) Well, as I said before I'm just so NOT a spicy food person and so after making a start on hubby's dinner as well as cooking a little plain chicken for our baby Jade, I got to thinking "what am I going to eat with my salad?"
Off to the fridge I went and after throwing a few ingredients together, for dinner I had this.......
On opening the fridge I saw a little container of mashed potato left over from last night's dinner. Cool, I thought and put it to one side, to that I added frozen fish, and a couple of spring onions, also known as scallions or as they're known in Scotland "sybies" pronounced "si-bees"

Jane Asher Bakeware & Asda Homeware Bargains
Disclaimer: I have not been paid to write this post or to promote these products.
Hi honeys,
Hope everyone's having a wonderful weekend. I'm still a little drained from two late shifts at work but wanted to post today because I found some little bargains & wanted to share in case anyone wanted to dash to Poundland or Asda to snap up similar little gems before they're gone :)
The bulk of this post is made up of a few more purchases from the fabulous Jane Asher Range currently available from Poundland. You can see the other items previously bought in this post. There are also, as I said, a few lovely little home making purchases from our local Asda.
First up though, a few more of the lovely Jane Asher bakeware items.......

Time Management & To Do Lists With Free Printable!
Hello Honeys,
Hope you're having fun in this beautiful weather we're having :)
So, this week, while dashing about as usual trying to stay caught up with everything, my thoughts turned to time management. This really is a weakness with me. I always seem to have too much to do & not nearly enough time to do it all in. It can be stressful & just makes life more difficult than it has to be.
I've found a way of combating the stress, and of getting more done too, is to plan everything ahead. I know this sounds so obvious, but it really has helped me. I've developed a huge love for notebooks, which I seem to have everywhere, for instance one in the kitchen devoted to favourite recipes I've tried, and want to add to our regular rotation of dinners, one in my handbag for notes to myself, things to remember, Doctors appointments etc.
As a sort of "one stop" visual reminder I decided to make a little "to do this week" printable to maybe hang in the hall or kitchen, I haven't decided yet and am waiting till hubby puts together our little shelf unit we bought for our teeny tiny mudroom to decide if it should go out there. Idea being that we'll see it before leaving the house & it'll remind us to do/buy/deal with something that day. So honeys, I thought I'd share the printable I made :) It looks like this.....
It's sized at 8 x 10 inches or you could use the "print to fit" setting on your printer to fit A4 paper. I plan on putting ours into a frame, but you could also laminate it. Once framed or laminated, it becomes a re-useable planner for the coming week. Simply write on the glass or laminated surface with a white board marker, which can easily be wiped off again with a microfiber cloth.

Furbaby Happiness On A Sunny Day :)
Hello again honeys,
Now if you've read any of my blog at all you'll know that a sunny day makes me incredibly happy because it allows me to hang laundry outside to dry. Lines of laundry, gently blowing in the breeze is to me pretty much like a trip to Disneyland for other more normal folk :) It really does make me that happy. Reason being that I'm not always able to do the things I really want to do, like hang out laundry, so any "good" day when I am able, is treasured and made the most of.
I have a whole other reason to be incredibly, smiling ear to ear, happy though, and here she is :)

Chilli Chicken Fillet Burger With lemon Mayonnaise
Hello honeys,
Hoping you're all well and having a fabulous week. Yesterday was the soggiest, ickiest, rainiest day! I mean it was pouring with rain all day long! It was still so warm though. Definitely an icky kinda day. Our furbaby Jade would only go as far as the back door, stare outside and then look at me as if to say "turn it off Mum I wanna go outside!"
Poor baby, I so wish I could just turn the rain off for her. Luckily I didn't have work yesterday, which is just as well because the dampness was trying to turn me into a human pretzel (ouch) & the humidity was trying to suffocate me. It's a joy being me at times 😊
Hubby however did have work, as well as picking up my prescription & a new shelf unit for our teeny tiny mudroom. The shelf unit was in the Argos clearance and is adorable :) I'll post photos when hubby puts it together.
Well, since hubby was being his usual lovely self running errands during his lunch, I wanted to make him a nice dinner to say thank you. OK, now don't go telling him I said this, but hubby really is the sweetest, loveliest man. Seriously though, I'm lucky to have him, he makes life worth living, even on nasty "spoonie" days like today when it doesn't really feel like it is. Now remember, shush, no telling :)
As a treat then, I decided to make him this.....
I have a huge admission to make. I can't eat chilli or anything else spicy or " a wee bit nippy burny" so it was plain cooked chicken for me (and our furbaby Jade)
Hubby however does love chilli and since dinner was a treat for him, chilli chicken it is....

My Soap & Glory Obsession!
Disclaimer: I have not been paid to write this post or to recommend any of these products. I literally have them in my bathroom cabinet and use them regularly because I adore them, that is all.
Hello honeys,
I hope you're having a fabulous week and that you're enjoying the sunshine that's made a welcome return after the recent rain. Today I was wondering what to post about when it occurred to me that I've been intending to write for some time now about myobsession er love for the Soap & Glory range of bath and skin care products :)
There are so many reasons why the Soap & Glory range is as popular as it is. A few (of my) reasons are as follows:
1. Quality. Nothing more to say than that.
2. The scents! Oh my, do they smell gooood!
3. They do exactly what it says on the tub/bottle/tube. Skin is left feeling fabulous.
4. They're so easy & fast to use and they make cleaning, moisturising & feeding your skin simple.
5. I'm sorry, I know this is silly, but I adore the packaging :) I love the huge pump bottles which are so user friendly, even with wet hands fresh out of the shower. I love the large generous jars of goodness (I'm talking about you here "Righteous Butter") that seem to last for ages & ages. I could go on and on!

Tiny Apple Update
Hello honeys :)
Do you remember my excitement recently when I found a tiny perfect apple growing on our apple tree in the back garden? Of course I've been checking on it every day and it's growing well in the mixture of beautiful sunshine we've had and our lovely Scottish rain :)
So I thought I'd share an updated photo, and here it is:
We bought our little tree from Woolworths (oh how I still miss our local Woolworths store! I can still close my eyes and mentally walk around in it) almost 7 years ago and this is the very first apple, so we're naturally very happy :)

How To Almost Double The Space In Your TShirt Drawer!
Hi honeys :)
Today I thought I'd share something I adore. This was my very first organizational project :) You can find images all over Pinterest of neatly organized t shirt drawers, but the first time I ever saw this method of "filing" clothes was on a video by the wonderful Alejandra Costello, whose fabulous You Tube videos started me on my organizational journey.
Alejandra uses a folding board but I don't have one of those so I thought I'd share a step by step of how I manage to fold t shirts before "filing" them :)
I've been doing this for over 18 months now and it makes life so, so easy! Hubby even watched me one evening and decided he would have a try and now he files laundry too :)
There really isn't a downside to this! You can see at a glance exactly what's in your drawer & grab what you're looking for, you can fit so much more in the drawer than when they're laid flat, it takes literally minutes to fold a stack of t shirts and it makes putting laundry away a dream!
So here it is honeys, my little step by step of how I fold t shirts, as well as my pyjamas, vest tops and nighties too :)
