Homeware Haul - Products That Made Me Smile :)

Note: I have not been asked to write this post, or paid to recommend any products. It's just some little bargains I've found recently that made me smile.

Hi Honeys
Good afternoon everyone, hoping you're all well and starting to see the Spring sunshine, even if it is still a little chilly :)

I recently bought a few things for our home and wanted to share...
I kept seeing the prettiest little milk jugs online and I just absolutely fell in love with them :) Ceramic but made to look like a little milk carton. I love every little thing about these adorable little milk jugs!

Imagine my surprise while in store, grocery shopping, at our local Asda (UK branch of Walmart) when I saw a similar version on sale at only £3! I was so happy! brought one home & it now has pride of place in our kitchen just because it makes me smile just to look at it :)

Also at Asda I found this pretty cook book holder. It's chrome and will be a great help when I'm cooking from one of my larger cook books.

Up until now, because I didn't want to have splashes or spills over my books I have been copying out using pen & paper or scanning & printing a copy of the recipe I'm using to take with me into the kitchen, and now I'll be able to use my books without worrying about stickiness and spills on them :)

I'd also seen adorable little ceramic egg trays both online and on television before, but hadn't expected to ever own one, in case anyone hasn't seen them they look like this

Again, such a silly thing to make me smile but it does and looks so cute holding our eggs in the fridge :) It was a real bargain too at only £1.50 from Home Bargains.

As anyone who is trying to organize their home knows, baskets are a great way to coral smaller items together on a shelf or in a cupboard.  Oddly enough, in our attempts to downsize our clutter, we've been finding that we have a growing collection of baskets, bins and boxes that we can re-purpose because we're donating/not keeping the things that had been stored in them. So buying more baskets was not part of our plans but I recently saw these two adorable little plastic lattice look baskets in Asda while grocery shopping and really couldn't resist them :)

I'm not sure where they'll end up in our home but will share in a future blog post where they end up being used & what they'll be used to store.  I don't feel too guilty about having bought them because they were so inexpensive at only £1.50 each.

So, that's been my little mini haul of home products. The purchases above totalled £9 so not a great deal, but they've each made me smile, cheered my day and will be very useful in our home. Have you made any purchases lately for your home? or just because something made you smile? If so, do share in the comments below. Thank you for visiting, I hope you're having a fabulous day honeys, full of smiles :)  Till next time dear ones, hugs always xx
